Cattle at Guitar Ranches
Our history with our cattle is the root of Guitar Ranches. After three generations of working cattle in Texas, we know a thing or two. We strive to continue to keep the same ranching tradition alive with over 1,500 cattle on over 60,000 acres.
Cattle Ranching
All of our cattle are certified all natural Angus (no antibiotics, hormones, or feed additives). We currently run approximately 1,500 cows and retain all yearlings for 60-90 days after weaning. Bulls are all registered Black or Red Angus. All heifers are bred to low birth weight Angus bulls. Heifers are calved outside with no calving problems.
